Barack Obama has been criticized for not being firm enough with Iran. All that rhetoric from the right wing should change now. After watching the Iranian Government go on a killing spree against it's own people, President Obama took off the gloves and said "No hot dogs for you guys". No, this is not a joke. Our President, on the other hand...
It appears that, in his effort to reach out to the Iranian Government, President Obama had decided to invite Iranian Diplomats to a 4th of July (not to be confused with quatro de cinco) cookout. The featured entree? You got it. Good old American hot dogs. But, as the President was pressured to come out and take a firm stance against the Iranian Election fiasco, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was forced to recind the invitations.
Before we get to the meat and potatoes of this topic, here is the light side. This is a parody song I made based on the Beach Boys song "Kokomo" to highlight the lunacy of the Obama Administration.

For those who have been sleeping under a rock, President Obama decided to move four of the Uighurs formerly detained at Guantanamo Bay to Bermuda. The Bermuda Government accepted them in a violation of protocol, and their Minister of Education sounds like he took a page from the Obama Administration when he made the following statement.
On this weeks show, I pointed out that President Obama was pushing Congress to pass Paygo. I also pointed out that the Democrats don't need paygo. They are, after all, in power to such a degree that the Republicans cannot pass spending without Democrat help. And even if they did, Obama could veto it. Hence, Obama with his hand in the Treasury is like a fat kid with a box of Twinkies. He has to have someone take the thing away from him or it will all be gone by bedtime.
Yet the most pertinent point is the fact that President Obama demands Paygo, yet pushes a health care plan that defies Paygo in the same breath. Hence, I made the point that Obama not only disregards our laws, but he doesn't even care about his laws. Enter Inspector General Gerald Walpin. The Washington Examiner reports the following.
As many of you know, I am an over the road truck driver. I am currently with a company called Prime Inc out of Springfield, Mo. This company requires that drivers provide a Birth Certificate for two reasons. 1. Prime hauls freight into Canada, and drivers going there need a passport. The Birth Certificate is required to obtain this document. 2. Prime hauls freight into and out of United States ports. As a security measure, the ports now require drivers entering and exiting the ports to have a Transportation Workers Identification Card, or TWIC. A Birth Certificate is also needed to obtain this document.
I came here to the home terminal in Springfield to get some work done on my truck. I dropped my truck off at the shop, then went to wait on the shuttle to take me to the motel. While waiting, I was talking to a driver who was here for orientation to come to work for Prime. He had taken a 3 and 1/2 day bus trip here from Washington State. This driver was originally born in the State of Hawaii. He had brought with him a copy of his Certification of Live Birth. Unfortunately for him, Prime Inc would not hire him with the documentation he had. He was trying to get in touch with the appropriate department in the State of Hawaii to get his Certificate of Live Birth, but he kept getting a busy signal. When we parted ways, he was talking to his father in Hawaii trying to get him to go pick up a copy for him.
I have some friends and family who supported President Trump from early on in the process. From time to time they will ask me when I will admit that I was wrong about him. "If Trump does x... If Trump gets y... If Trump supports a policy that results in z... will you admit that you were wrong?" My answer is always "no", because I wasn't wrong. To be clear, I could be wrong in practical application, but that isn't what an election is about. Elections are about theory and speculation and, generally speaking about judging records. Trump had no record to speak of, and his history of stances on issues was all over the map. I opposed his candidacy for several major reasons, all of which are proven valid in this single issue we now refer to as the "travel ban". Here were my reasons.
If you're not familiar with Justice with Judge Jeanine, it is a show on the FOX News Network starring Jeanine Pirro. She is known for her over-the-top rants where she serves up gobs of fresh red meat for her largely hard right wing audience. While it's not unusual for her to be a little fast and loose with the facts, she has been known to occasionally return from the break with a correction from her producers. Last night, however, there was no such correction to an outright lie she told on the show, and the matter being discussed should have (at the very least) contained a disclaimer from the host. I would cut her some slack, but as a former prosecutor and judge, she should be well aware of what proper protocol should have been here.
It's not cute anymore, Republicans. The President of the United States is completely detached from reality, and you can't fix that. You can't cover it up, you can't explain it away, and let me make this as clear as I possibly can for you. You cannot possibly undo the damage you are doing to the party brand by trying to pretend this man is anything other than completely unhinged. I'm watching Sean Hannity borrow guests from the Alex Jones show in an attempt to bolster Trump's conspiratorial claims. I'm seeing relatively mainstream conservatives make themselves look like the crazed fringes of the paranoid right wing. Don't believe me? Look at this.
