And It Just Won't Go Away

Remember when the left produced a news paper clipping announcing Obama's alleged birth in Hawaii? All of a sudden, this was supposed to silence all doubters. I see your clip, and raise you this.

The question has been raised, how far will Obama go to keep from producing his Certificate Of Live Birth (as opposed to the worthless Certification of Live Birth)? Enter U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, a reservist who lives in Florida, who has challenged his deployment based on his view that Barack Obama serves illegitimately as President. This view is based on President Obama's alleged foreign birth. It was the stated concern of the Major that any actions of war could become crimes if he knowingly participated under a Commander who did not have the legal authorization to order them.

Of course, CBS News listed this as yet another tin foil hat surfacing.

Conspiracy theories about where Mr. Obama was born abound in some quarters despite the fact that the Obama campaign posted the then-candidate's Hawaiian birth certificate online last year. Skeptics call the certificate a forgery, though their claims have been repeatedly debunked.

Yet here is where the story gets a little more interesting. How far will Obama go to avoid the issue? WND is reporting that the military has revoked the Major's orders.

This Explains A Lot

As our President acts more erratically than ever, more and more people are batting around the great question of Barack Husein Obama. Is he nuts, or is he running the Country into the ground on purpose? During the third debate with John McCain, Obama said it was irresponsible to tax people's healthcare benefits. Now he wants to do it. He said that it was against our morals to detain people indefinitely, now he wants to do it. Remember when the Republicans "hated old people" and "wanted them to die" because they wanted to slow the rate of growth for Medicare? Perhaps the answer to the great Obama question could be found in another question. Why does Michelle Obama hate children, and want them to be stupid?

Tests on the highly acclaimed White House Garden have found elevated levels of lead. 93 ppm, to be exact. These vegetables have been served to visiting dignitaries, local charitable organizations, and even the First Family. Despite the fact that exposure to lead results in a long-term potentiation (LTP) decrease, cognitive deficits, and behavioral problems, the First Lady plans to continue serving the vegetables. So using liberal logic, the question becomes, "Why does Michelle Obama hate children and want them to be stupid?" Has she watched "How Obama Got Elected" and realized that heightened levels of stupidity lead to supporting her husband? Is it now her goal to turn all of the little Peggys and Josephs of the United States into little Peggy Josephs? Will she not stop until she has so dumbed down the electorate until every kid out there is a mind numbed Obamabot zombie moron?

For those of you who have been eating from the White House garden, let me explain that I am being a bit sarcastic. Obviously, I don't believe that Michelle Obama hates children. I would, however, like to point out that this garden was supposed to be a celebration of healthy eating, not a pencil factory for the President. When Obama's mid afternoon snack doubles as a writing utensil to sign his latest attack on wealth and personal liberty into law, we might have a kind of a sort of a little bit of a problem. Seriously, can this Administration get anything right? I say that not to suggest that this was done intentionally, but rather to note that even the most innocent of gestures run horribly afoul with this guy. The door becomes a window, German becomes Austrian, the fifth of May becomes 5 of 4, then a jaunt around the 57 States and BAM!!! Home for a quick bite of lead. Nominees grow tax problems, and those who don't have difficulty walking. The teleprompter gives the wrong speech to the wrong guy. The VP encourages us to stay off the subway to Mexico. New York City buildings are evacuated for Air Force 1 joy rides. Is this all a coincidence? Or is it the lead?!?!

Minnesota Voters; Serial Stupidity

Have you no shame, Minnesota?

Seriously, this is a State that elected Jesse Ventura to be the mayor. Now, it appears that they have voted for Al Franken, the failed talk show host of the failed Air America network, to be their Senator... barring a few technicalities. It seems that the Minnesota Supreme Court could find no irregularity in some counties throwing out votes that were counted in others, and they saw no need to count the remaining 12,000 absentee ballots, because why does the military need to vote anyway?!?!? So, they told Franken to clean the extra ballots out of his trunk, pack his car, and head to Washington. Hence, I decided to offer this salute to Minnesota.

For good measure, I wanted to throw in the following piece from Jesse Ventura which aired on "The Obama Deception", a documentary by that mental midget Alex Jones.

Looking at that picture, you well may be asking yourself how these people could possibly be taken seriously. Simply put, they can't. Al Franken is the intellectual offspring of Jesse Ventura's sunglasses and Alex Jone's tin foil hat. When introduced to the nation on his Air America show, he failed miserably. People just don't care to hear what he has to say. Well... accept, apparently, people in Minnesota.

A Deal With The Devil?

Let me start off by saying that I can only find one source to verify this story. I also want to thank BoBo for his twitter post that alerted me to it. I have found the National Review Online to be a pretty reliable source, but I will wait for outside verification before accepting this as gospel fact. Before I get into this story, I want to remind you of a moment back during the campaign. In May of 2008, then President Bush was speaking to the Israeli Parliament when he said the following.

"Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is - the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history,"

In what now appears to have possibly been a Freudian slip, President Obama defended himself from a charge that was not specifically leveled at him.

"Instead of tough talk and no action, we need to do what Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan did and use all elements of American power -- including tough, principled, and direct diplomacy -- to pressure countries like Iran and Syria. George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists, and the president's extraordinary politicization of foreign policy and the politics of fear do nothing to secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel,"

Whom, Not What

A quick glance at the latest mental ramblings of the Obama Administration does it no justice. A detailed analysis gives us a better look into the mind of the man who is our President. For the past couple of years, he has expressed his outrage over the handling of detainees at the Guantanamo Bay Detention Center. He has declared it to be "unconstitutional" to hold these men without charges or trials, and called it a departure from our morals. Now, his Administration is considering prolonging that alleged immorality.

I, for one, applaud the move. As the Bush Administration before him stated, many of these detainees are very unsavory characters that we don't want out running around this world we live in. Yet the allegations against the Bush Administration were that they let fear get in the way of good judgment, and hence violated a moral code by doing this in the first place. So why is Obama considering carrying on the practice

The White House is weighing the move out of concern that Congress might otherwise stymie its plans to quickly close the naval prison in Cuba.

Under the proposal, detainees considered too dangerous to prosecute or release would be kept in confinement in the U.S. or possibly overseas, two administration officials told the Associated Press on Friday. Otherwise, the White House could get bogged down for months seeking an agreement with Congress on a new legal detention system.

And there you have it. President Obama criticized former President Bush for doing the same thing out of fear that these people, if released, might attack us. President Obama is now considering carrying on the practice based on the fear that if he does not, his delivery on a political promise might be delayed. Herein lie two problems for the President.

  • Watered Down Travel Ban

    Watered Down Travel Ban

I have some friends and family who supported President Trump from early on in the process. From time to time they will ask me when I will admit that I was wrong about him. "If Trump does x... If Trump gets y... If Trump supports a policy that results in z... will you admit that you were wrong?" My answer is always "no", because I wasn't wrong. To be clear, I could be wrong in practical application, but that isn't what an election is about. Elections are about theory and speculation and, generally speaking about judging records. Trump had no record to speak of, and his history of stances on issues was all over the map. I opposed his candidacy for several major reasons, all of which are proven valid in this single issue we now refer to as the "travel ban". Here were my reasons.

  • Fraudulent Rant by Judge Jeanine

    Fraudulent Rant by Judge Jeanine

If you're not familiar with Justice with Judge Jeanine, it is a show on the FOX News Network starring Jeanine Pirro. She is known for her over-the-top rants where she serves up gobs of fresh red meat for her largely hard right wing audience. While it's not unusual for her to be a little fast and loose with the facts, she has been known to occasionally return from the break with a correction from her producers. Last night, however, there was no such correction to an outright lie she told on the show, and the matter being discussed should have (at the very least) contained a disclaimer from the host. I would cut her some slack, but as a former prosecutor and judge, she should be well aware of what proper protocol should have been here.

  • Wake The Hell Up, GOP!

    Wake The Hell Up, GOP!

It's not cute anymore, Republicans. The President of the United States is completely detached from reality, and you can't fix that. You can't cover it up, you can't explain it away, and let me make this as clear as I possibly can for you. You cannot possibly undo the damage you are doing to the party brand by trying to pretend this man is anything other than completely unhinged. I'm watching Sean Hannity borrow guests from the Alex Jones show in an attempt to bolster Trump's conspiratorial claims. I'm seeing relatively mainstream conservatives make themselves look like the crazed fringes of the paranoid right wing. Don't believe me? Look at this.
