Obama Justice Department Drops Charges
Remember this scene from election day?

The video shows a scene where members of the Black Panther Party stand outside a poling location in Philadelphia Pa, menacing and intimidating voters. The men are King Samir Shabazz, Malik Zulu Shabazz, and Jerry Jackson (who saw that one coming?). Charges were filed against the three men for violations of the voter rights act by using coercion, threats and intimidation. The complaint stated that the men hurled racial slurs at both black and white voters, and that one of the men brandished a nightstick or baton and pointed it at voters and tapped it menacingly.
Bartle Bull, who worked as a civil rights lawyer in the '80s, said it wase the most blatant form of voter intimidation he had ever seen. In his affidavit obtained by FOX News, he said...
"I watched the two uniformed men confront voters and attempt to intimidate voters. They were positioned in a location that forced every voter to pass in close proximity to them. The weapon was openly displayed and brandished in plain sight of voters."
He also said they tried to "interfere with the work of other poll observers ... whom the uniformed men apparently believed did not share their preferences politically," noting that one of the panthers turned toward the white poll observers and said "you are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker."
Rest assured, the first black President of the United States will be all over this case of voter intimidation, blatant racism, and civil rights violation, right? Wrong. The Obama Justice Department has dropped the case against these men despite an overwhelming amount of video evidence and witness testimony. But here is where the case get a little more interesting.
Michelle Malkin reports that the men had not responded to the suit filed against them, so there was a default judgment in place. What the Obama Justice Department has done here is not just drop the case, but rather drop a default judgment. In other words, the case was already won when this administration decided to throw it out.
This is absolutely obscene. Not only has the Obama Justice Department now basically given a stamp of approval to racially motivated voter intimidation, but in the process tax payer dollars were wasted prosecuting a case only to discard the judgment once obtained.
