President Obama Agrees With Rush Limbagh's Comments On Fluke

See? I Told You So!

President Obama Agrees With Rush Limbagh's Comments On Fluke

I know what you are thinking. I'm wrong, right? President Obama called Fluke to offer his support. He not only does not agree with Limbaugh, he completely disagrees with him. It is the Republicans that are sexist. It is Limbaugh who attacked all women with his comments. It is President Obama who is indeed standing up for Sandra Fluke, and all women. Rush even admits that his comments were wrong now, so score this as a win for Obama and the left. Right? Perhaps I will. It is a win for Obama most likely, and it is a win for the left. But if it is, what does this say about women in our Country? I found an interesting article over at the Associated Press, and it is chock full of good stuff that 99% of you will miss when you read it. I had the advantage of knowing what the left already thinks of women. I had the foreknowledge that Obama and company already view you ladies as sluts and prostitutes. I set in motion a plan to prove it. I didn't need to, thank you AP.

NCAA Strikes Again

The best and the brightest?

NCAA Strikes Again

Just in case you were wondering about how the NCAA policy on using ethnic names as mascots leaves some teams changing their name, and others keeping their old ones, let me break it down for you really quickly. The Florida State Seminoles, named after the Seminole Indians, are allowed to keep their name because they got the Seminole Tribe to sign off on it. The St. John's Red Storm is no longer the Red Men because they weren't named after Indians. They were simply called the Red Men because their uniforms were red. Thus, no Indians could sign off on this one, and uniforms aren't literate, so they had to change their name on the off chance that the fabric was offended by being assigned to a particular gender. The Utah Utes kept their name when Oren Hatch bribed the Ute Indians with a Casino. And the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are still the Fighting Irish because they are white, so who cares if they are offended. Got it? Good.

You Girls Let Me Down

Will the real feminists please stand up?

You Girls Let Me Down

Much is being made of the war of words between Rush Limbaugh and Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown University student who testified in front of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee on Monday. Sandra, who is a "Reproductive Rights Activist" was testifying about her schools insurance policies failure to cover contraceptives. She made the claim that 40% of the women at the University reported that this policy has caused them financial difficulties, and went on to explain that contraceptives could cost a student over $3,000 during law school. Of course, this resulted in plenty of jokes from Limbaugh, calling her a slut (for having so much sex) and a prostitute (for wanting someone else to pay for it). Don't get distracted by this back and forth. The real question is "What happened to the feminists?"

Did MSNBC Just Say That?

Back To Bama

You can color me shocked. For anyone who watches MSNBC and has followed the debate on the Alabama Illegal Immigration law, you know what the stance of that network has been. The law is racist, and it unfairly targets Hispanics. It makes their mere existence a crime. On and on they go with their silly stories about how families could be arrested just for going out for an ice cream cone... wait a second, that one wasn't a silly left wing moonbat on MSNBC, that was our President. But I digress. If you have followed the story on a different network (one like FOX News, for example) then you likely were presented with a different view on the issue.

Senator Shortey is on the case for you.

What's In Your Waffle?

I'm sure that some of my readers are ingredient hawks, and you never eat anything without knowing what is in it. Others, like myself, are more concerned with how the food tastes. But somewhere beyond the trans fats and monosodium glutamate, there might be something in your food that you don't know about. Might be. Oklahoma Senator Ralph Shortey hasn't found any instance of a specific case of a human fetus being used in the production of food, but his internet research has led him to believe that a law banning the process is necessary. Of course, he wasted no time in getting the wheels of justice in motion to stop this horrific practice, assuming of course that it has even started. He said the bill would also "raise public awareness", which is naturally low, since this isn't actually happening.

The Joe Paterno Scandal Show

After much waiting and anticipation...

The Joe Paterno Scandal Show

Yes, the Axis of Stevil show comes back on the air, and we do it big time with this episode for your listening pleasure. After a brief bout with the crazy news of the week, I go into a detailed summary of what is going on at Penn State. Using the Grand Jury Report and applying simple logic, I question if Mike McQueary is telling the truth. I address the angry mobs who demanded Paterno's head, and even question what effect they are having on the case. I will detail my logic below, and you can follow along as you listen to The Axis of Stevil Show.

And the hits just keep on coming.

Franco Fired, Kutcher Quieted

At this point, I would like to declare that the verdict is in on Joe Paterno. Well, not so much on Joe. But it is on saying anything good about him. Score another point for the huddled masses yearning to be ignorant. Yes, I know that is a bit harsh, but even when the defense attorney for Sandusky allegedly produces the boy from the shower scene who is telling the same story that everybody except McQueary is telling, they are not deterred. It's either a hoax from the lawyer, the boy is lying, or Sandusky brainwashed him and he is covering for him. Isn't it even slightly possible that everyone but McQueary is telling the truth? "Of course not", they scoff.

In Defense Of Paterno

Somebody has to do it!

In Defense Of Paterno

It's been a rough week and a half for Joe Paterno and the Penn State Football Program. All of this has been brought on by the horrific actions of one man, Jerry Sandusky. We are told that complicating the matter was a cover-up by Paterno and others at Penn State University. Sports talk radio, and many other media outlets, have been quick to toss Paterno to the wolves for his alleged inaction and his roll in the cover-up of the terrible things that happened to innocent children at the hands of their alleged attacker, Sandusky. Notice how I did that? See how this works in today's world? Since there are criminal charges against Sandusky, we say alleged. But Paterno? Not so much. But was this inaction on the part of Paterno or, worse yet, an active cover-up? Let's take a look at what we know so far before we rush to judgement.

Spiders and Humans

We're really not that different.

Spiders and Humans

I know many of my readers will have a hard time with this one, but recent research suggests that humans and spiders may have something in common, and it just might be one of the last things that you expected. It appears that male spiders, when preparing to mate, bring the female a gift. Now of course, in our society we consider this to be par for the course, unless of course the gift is cash. Then it is illegal in most jurisdictions. But the study revealed something that I found to be even more interesting.

Here I come to save the day!

Pop Tart to the Rescue

Every once in awhile we get a story of triumph over tragedy and survival against all odds that warms the heart and touches the soul. This isn't one of those stories. It's half of one of those stories. It seems a North Carolina girl was able to survive two nights trapped in the wreckage of a Government Motors Monte Carlo by eating Pop Tarts.

How will these two fare?

MSNBC on Newt and Lady O

Today's entry comes from the PowerWall blog, an extension of WonderWall, a property of MSNBC, which is of course a subsidiary of MSN. Of course, is a blog a certain amount of artistic liberty is allowed, but I believe it is safe to say that MSNBC is a left wing news outlet. But just how left wing are they? Take a look at their latest article on Republican hopeful Newt Gingrich, compared to their take on the First Lady in a photo gallery linked right beside the article.

Why Ron Paul is Wrong

on Thursday, 13 October 2011. Posted in Politics

Racism cannot be tollerated.

Why Ron Paul is Wrong

As much as it pains me to do this (ok, maybe it doesn't) it is that time of the election cycle once again. It seems that every four years, Ron Paul shows up at a debate and says some things that are so good on domestic issues that some Republicans forget the insanity of his foreign policy and they start getting excited about his candidacy. Perhaps you are one of those people. If not, you may know one. If you are not one and you don't know one, you can usually find one on an internet forum board typing in all caps with horrible spelling. If you recognize any of these traits in yourself, or someone you know, please read this and share it with the others. Ron Paul will never be President of the United States, and his candidacy is a complete non-starter to most Republicans because Ron Paul is a bigot. Now I know, that is strong language. And perhaps you don't want it to be true so badly that you will convince yourself it is not. That is fine too, because you will see here that I can make such a convincing case that it doesn't matter if it is true or not. He can never win.

Are you ready for some hypocrisy?

on Sunday, 09 October 2011.

Jemele HillThis past week Hank Williams Jr., who performed the opening intro for ESPN's Monday Night Football, was relieved of his responsibilities with the network after he appeared on FOX News and suggested that the President and Speaker of the House golfing together was comparable to Adolph Hitler golfing with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu. While Williams did not specifically identify either individual as being like Hitler, his comments were obviously way out of line and he was promptly fired. I want to be clear here that I support ESPN's decision to get rid of him over these remarks. While I don't believe that they had to, I do believe that they are entitled to and I can easily understand why they would want to distance themselves from these comments. My concern, however, is for an apparent double standard with the network. During the 2008 NBA Playoffs, ESPN columnist Jemele Hill had the following to say about fans of the Boston Celtics.

Ron Paul to meet with Trump

on Monday, 03 October 2011.

Everybody else is doing it, so why not Ron Paul? He becomes the latest Republican candidate to meet with The Donald in hopes of getting the apparently coveted nomination. When Trump took Sarah Palin out to Famiglia for a pizza, nobody realized the trend that they were starting. By the time Rick Perry showed up alongside The Donald at Jean Georges, you knew that Mitt Romney was going to have to show up and take his turn. But Ron Paul becomes the first Candidate to meet with the Real Estate mogul who will make Trump's hair look good.

We spoke with Trump's secretary to try to get some info on the upcoming meeting, but unfortunately she remained pretty tight lipped. When, where, and how were questions she was not willing to answer. As to why, she simply said that Mr. Trump didn't want to alienate Mr. Paul or his followers from the new Republican tradition. We asked where the two would dine and she said "Come on, now. It's Ron Paul. Most likely they will just have a bowl of Fruit Loops in his office".

Racial Twist for Republican Campaign

Is Herman Cain serious?

Racial Twist for Republican Campaign

Over the course of the weekend, a story broke about a camp in Texas where Rick Perry and his father have leased land and hunted. As we know, if you are a Republican running for President, anything you have ever done over the course of your life will be put under the microscope, along with whom you may have done it with and where the events occurred. If you are a Democrat who served on boards with and had campaign events hosted by a guy who blew up a building or two, that may not be an issue for you. If however, you are a Conservative that hunted on some land that some people have attached a racist name to? Yea, stand by for some problems. So while the firestorm that is coming from the left is to be expected, I was a bit surprised that Herman Cain decided to jump on board and bottom-feed on this issue. First, the controversy.
